Stairway from Heaven

We love a challenging staircase brief, so when we reconfigured Sea Island Coffee's new headquarters in South Kensington we were delighted when the client requested a glass staircase. But rather than taking the usual route of two supports per tread we re-engineered it to require only one, depending on the upstand to support the next tread.
